Pancake Social

 

When Chef Anne Quatrano and well-known Atlanta restaurateurs Dan Jacobson, Tony Riffel, and Steven Chan joined forces to develop their latest concept, an all-day breakfast destination, the buzz began to circulate early. Pancake Social was created as a nod to the traditional pancake breakfast that gathers families and friends together. With a cool new restaurant underway and anticipation that started to form quickly, it only made sense that social was the best way to capture everyone’s attention

 
 
 

One of the most Instagrammed floors in all of Atlanta

This Ponce City Market breakfast mainstay—another dream partnership—tapped Treebird for the works: an entire branding rollout, print collateral, and social media. But the real story here is the floors. After Treebird designed a one-of-kind pattern that the client simply couldn’t live without—and that tile companies couldn’t affordably replicate—the owners took it upon themselves to get stencils made and hand-painted all 250 tiles in the restaurant. It still stands as one of the most Instagrammed floors in all of Atlanta.

Stats:

  • Follower Growth: Over 1500 followers prior to opening. Over 4500 followers 1 month after opening. Over 9000 followers 3 years after opening.

  • Insights: On a monthly basis, Pancake Social reaches thousands of Instagram users and gets 20,000+ impressions.

  • Booking/Sales: Due to a combination of a great concept, social media and strong press, lines have been out the door since opening.

The strategy for us was simple—capitalize on the hype and begin sharing the love for pancakes online. We put the spotlight on like-minded eateries around the country by reposting and crediting their most delicious pancake photos.  By sharing posts from other breakfast-centered restaurants, we were able to create a strong brand presence, generate interest across a wide range of audiences, and build a loyal following of what we considered to be pancake inspiration. After we had users drooling for pancakes, we were able to utilize a knockout combo of captivating photography, stellar copy, and playful graphics to create a solid content plan.

We have been able to continually grow the reach of Pancake Social and maintain the post-opening excitement.  Every month we are watching posts and using the previous month’s analytics to plan and create engaging posts, stories, and reels. With a combination of a strong social media strategy and great press, the feedback has been overwhelmingly positive. Everyone loves eating at Pancake Social.
