Treebird Gives Back: Give Me Five

We at Treebird strive to make our presence in the community known. One of our ways of doing that includes extending our services to help mission-driven organizations who are making Atlanta (and the world) a better place.

Our connection to the restaurant industry led us to our long-standing relationship with No Kid Hungry. No Kid Hungry works to combat child hunger and malnutrition locally and nationwide. The organization hosts annual culinary events highlighting the nation’s finest talent to support their charitable cause.

Taste of the Nation and Give Me Five are two of the charity events that we sponsor, both raising hundreds of thousands of dollars to benefit No Kid Hungry. The 13th annual Give Me Five dinner, an exclusive five-course experience prepared by some of Georgia’s finest chefs and sommeliers, took place this past Sunday, August 18, 2019.

Other causes near and dear to our heart include:

  • Aimee Copeland Foundation - a nonprofit that empowers people of all physical, developmental and psychological abilities to build fulfilling and joyful lives by helping them connect with nature

  • Ben’s Friends - food and beverage industry support group for those struggling with addiction

  • Metro Atlanta Association of Professionals - a professional development organization for Metro Atlanta LGBTQ+ community

  • National Multiple Sclerosis Society - a non profit organization working to improve the quality of life for people affected by MS in the state of Georgia and raise funds for critical MS research
