Koast is LA’s casual-yet-refined seafood restaurant that brings elevated cuisine at fair prices to Melrose Avenue. Inspired by open-air coastal bistros and airy seafood spaces, Koast delivers big flavors with a focus on freshness and approachability.

Like our sister restaurant Kali, which is also tucked away down the street between Hollywood and Larchmont Village, Koast focuses on local ingredients prepared simply and expertly. A true neighborhood gem, Koast invites all to drop in, eat well, commune with others, and eat and live with style.

Our menu focuses on the ocean—oysters, finned fish, shellfish—along with fresh salads, soups, and sandwiches. You won’t find any po boys or lobster rolls, but instead elegantly presented, elevated fare without a tasting-course price tag.
